In 2018 Dome Club is searching for a partner venue in the Bristol area. We are seeking a pub or restaurant with an 8m x 8m outdoor space in a secure, enclosed garden. The proposal is to erect our 7m steel frame geodesic digital dome (photos below) for a two to three month period over the summer of 2019. In the evenings we will screen our popular Pink Floyd psychedelic fulldome shows (plus 360° art / entertainment) and during the day family shows and educational content. We propose splitting ticket proceeds with the partner venue, as we’ve done before at The Custard Factory and Q Club Birmingham. If you'd like to find out more (or know of a venue that may be interested) please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0800 9551 360. Short link to this page: http://bit.ly/dc-search

"Yep, that was us. A giant crew swarmed all over the planetarium for hours. They wanted the presenter to sound dull, which was a little galling" - Marc Taylor, Manager, Planetarium and Science Programs, Hudson River Museum, Yonkers, NY 10701 [Dome-L mailing list, 19 Jan 2018]
