We educate and inform in the interest of the best patient care
the weekly scenarios are great learning tools
I read with interest the article in the December 2017 edition of EMS World "Timeline of Modern Ameri...can EMS." In 2005 Hurricane Katrina made landfall in Waveland and Bay St. Louis, MS and while New Orleans did experience rains and wind and suffered their own disaster, the main impact of that devastating storm was felt (and is still seen) in South Mississippi. Your insert in the timeline would have more appropriately read Hurricane Katrina strikes Mississippi and surrounding areas. For a portion of our state to be referred to as "the land mass between Mobile and New Orleans" during the reporting on the storm, we certainly have struggled to recover. The timeline is an interesting flashback in time...good to see that the Irish led the way! See More
