I want to thank all of my neighbors, who supported my first political run for office. I would also like to congratulate Peter Riggs for his win. So many friends showed their rock solid support for our campaign. I also really would like to show my appreciation for all the new friends we have found along the way of this journey. My family would like to say thank you, and God bless you.
While we did not get the outcome we all worked for, please note that over 1,597 people su...pported our historic campaign. This election was so strange that, with being unable to do significant canvassing, there was no debate; the race seemed to favor the person who raised more money.
Also, while there were over 6,869 votes cast in Legislative District 3 in 2020, in 2018 in the competition between two Republicans, there were only 4,676 votes cast. A massive increase. Even with that, 58% of the voters in Legislative District 3 cast votes for someone other than the eventual winner.
We learned a lot, and will grow in our capability. Once again, thank you all, and please know the fight for liberty will continue.
Tonight there were rumors of an Antifa associated protest coming to Coeur d'Alene in North Idaho. Most of the rumors turned out to be false. However, it led to a large group of local people attempting to keep violent rioting and looting out of North Idaho. Earlier, there were a few rumors that a large group of Antifa or Black Lives Matter (BLM) being bused into Coeur d'Alene. [ 374 more words ]
