We all have our own voice, as they are all different, they have also developed at separate times in our lives. Some may have had a their own voice since they could talk and others had to search for their voice. The process ought to not be the same as everyone else but as a sister hood, we need to stand together and help one another find and strengthen our individuality. Bullying, body shamming, "catty" attitudes and the "clickiness" will not result in any beneficial factor in the long run. We need to stick together as the strong women we are all meant to be! #HappyInternationalWomensDay

I feel I must resign from AAUW effective immediately. This includes membership in Empire State Virtual Branch AAUW, membership in AAUW Chicago, and my national membership as well. I have thought long and hard about this action, and I am convinced that this is what I must do now.
