The wonderful EUBO (European Union Baroque Orchestra) rehearsing for tonight's concert in St John's, Smith Square. This will be the last appearance of EUBO unde...r the UK management that has supported and promoted it since 1985. As a consequence of Brexit, the organisation is moving to Belgium
This promises to be an exciting evening: EUBO's concert season 2016/17 culminates with a performance of music by JS Bach and GF Handel for the London Festival of Baroque Music in St John’s Smith Square this evening, 19 May. The orchestra is directed by Lars Ulrik Mortensen and joined by Maria Keohane (soprano) and Bojan Cicic (concertmaster).
