It will be the first time when ministers from European Union countries will talk on the same panel as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan). European Values Center for Security Policy proudly will provide a platform for discussion and policy development in Europe-Taiwan relations. 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬: Democratic countries are under increasing pressure from disinformation campaigns and other tools of malign foreign interference organized by authoritarian regimes. Which tools should democracies use to defend their democratic processes and their national sovereignty? How should democracies cooperate across regions given that the threats have many similarities from Europe to Asia?
