Mindy Blackstien and Jeffrey Kippel had the opportunity to help launch and shape the natural bodybuilding and fitness industry. Events, expos, television shows that they produced and magazines they published went around the world, and inspired thousands to reshape their body and sculpt their physique. Then at the height of it all they stopped and stepped back. Why? Something wasn’t right.
* Where they thought health was being enhanced, they learned health was being dismissed
...* Where they thought mental health came along with body beautifying, they saw egos deflated and confidence lost.
* Where they thought FIT equated to proud, healthful and whole thoughts, actions and choices, they realized FIT was a way to stroke egos and not always make you feel good
What they learned was that everyone has a story. It's whether they have the courage to share it that makes a difference. Together everyone achieves more.
So if your life story created in you the wisdom and desire to help people to be fit, healthful and whole, then make your voice heard. This is your space to make share your experiences, wisdom, AHA's and breakthroughs.
Anyone who would like to be involved, is welcome to be involved. This is a positive space where minds merge and where together we get to learn and spread authentic inspiration, information and insight.
Can any of you relate? Does anyone have their own story?
Like or share. Comment or post.
This is about being fit, healthful and whole: reaching your dreams, stretching your comfort zones and following your desires.
Believe and Achieve. That way everyone is a winner.
Passing this along!
I really enjoyed this share! I actually learned much of the same over the course of my journey. So I'm sharing it here in case it can help anyone out.
At the s...ame time, having gotten to know Rizwan Sayani, I am super impressed with his share!
Anyone else have similar experiences? Or messages?
Allright so an update from my post and why i wrote it yesterday.
After an eventful wedding weekend in naples, florida, I met some really amazing people there.
I... saw that people down there had money. Some of the houses were like mansions and you could tell they came with a hefty price tag.
So what I try and do when I go to nice restaurants or come across amazing businesses is I walk up to the owner and I ask "what do you attribute to your success?"
I do this because I want to learn from them and mimic their habits.
So I'm at the hotel and I see a group of elders sitting there who are all decked out ot the nines and I walk up to them and introduce myself and I ask them "what do you attribute to your success?" (I went in my gym clothes because I thought I may never see them again.)
At first they were probably like who is this brown man coming up to me? then they welcomed me with open arms.
They then said these things to me:
1. Surround yourself with smarter people than you.
If you suck at finance, get someone who is good at it.
If you suck at business, find someone who knows what their doing.
If you suck at selling, find someone who can sell so you can learn how he does it.
Don't be the smartest person in the room.
2. Take Action on everything.
He asked me if I work out. I just came back from the gym. He said if you can lift weights then why can't you action everything.
Have that same mindset with your life and you'll be successful.
3. Trust yourself in everything you do.
Trust that whatever decision you make will be based on your decisions and actions and will be right in your own way.
If you can't trust yourself, who can you trust.
The reason for these posts and you probably might see a lot of them from me now is because when I went down to Florida, I had some really cool revelations.
1. Florida is a very peaceful place. the people are nice, the sea is calm, the air is clean. Everyday, I felt like I woke up in a state of zen.
I strongly recommend people to go there for a few days.
2. I want to change my life from being that of a consumer to a producer. someone who produces good stuff. Someone who down the road, people look at and say "I can learn from him"
3. I want to change my mindset and my habits from that of sitting on the sidelines to that of getting in the game and doing.
So with that I empower you to read this post a few times and let it sink in.
If it helped you great, If not, let me know how I can improve.
Thanks for reading.

Below is a quote from Mindy and Jeffrey who produced events, expos, TV shows and published magazines around the world which helped shape the bodybuilding and fitness industries, and launched the fitness model movement.
“ At the height of it all we stopped and stepped back. Why? Something wasn’t right....
Where we thought health was being enhanced, we learned health was being dismissed
Where we thought physical appearance boosted mental health, we saw a disconnect
Where we thought FIT equated to proud, healthful and whole, we saw egos deflated and confidence lost.
We came to learn that appearing FIT is one thing. Being FIT --- mentally, emotionally, spiritually and healthfully -- is everything."
Can any of you relate? Does anyone have their own story? What you are doing to be fit, healthful and whole? And how do you know it really works?
