“None of this should be surprising but here’s what just happened:
Trump was asked if he would condemn white supremacist violence and militias. Trump not only refused, but then directly ordered the paramilitary proud boys to "stand down and stand by" and then said "something has to be done about Antifa" immediately after.
The president just ordered a Fascist paramilitary to stand by going into the election and basically said to target his political enemies.
In the final question, Trump refused to call on his supporters to avoid taking to the streets during the contested election and refused to promise not to declare victory on election night. He pretty much said he condemns civil unrest if the election is "fair" after spending the last hour ranting about how it was impossible for this election to be fair. He also ordered his supporters to go to polls and intimidate voters and "monitor" the election.
