Absolutely love Fabmo! I don't even know how to sew, and I still manage to find lots of useful (and beautiful) items that I can use around my house. Fabmo: thank you for all you've done to keep artist...s supplied with cool materials and keep less from going into landfill. : ) See More

Great source for textiles and surprises. FabMo does a wonderful job of diverting materials and samples from landfills. FabMo makes the material available to the community.

The Totally Free Event was my first foray to FabMo after seeing their display at the San Mateo county fair. Oh my! Everyone was so friendly and the fabric selection plus other materials were absolutel...y top quality designer surplus. I would never have had financial access to these lovely items plus I'm helping to keep them out of the landfills. Now my creative juices are on overdrive. Thank you FabMo for all you do! See More

FabMo is an amazing place! Besides all the wonderful items collected each week, it's the people you meet there. They are so welcoming, very talented and creative and are always willing to share what... they do with their treasures from FabMo. Everyone should be part of the conscious effort to reuse and upcycle things around us. FabMo makes it fun! See More

FabMo collects fabric, tile, wallpaper, and more, from designer showrooms, as well as donated home sewing fabrics and items, throughout the year. We are bringing another truckloa...d of these treasures to Santa Cruz for a Selection Event at the Club House in Harvey West Park on Thursday, April 26 from 11:30AM to 6PM. As always, admission is free. Your donations for the materials you take make these events possible.

We will have some special items, including:
Large cuts of fake fur and suede-like velvets, good for skin tones on dolls and stuffed animals
Felt yardage in various colors
White batting (similar to Warm & Natural)
An assortment of rolled and other sized carpets, in addition to our usual doormat and "sit-upon" sizes
We will also have a nice selection of home goods (folded yardage donated from personal stashes), as well as wallpaper sample books and lots of fabric sample books. And of course, our usual fantastic selection of designer fabric samples in various sizes from 8" squares to 26" longs.
