Animal Place Sanctuary has 1,300 rescued 2 year old white leghorn hens from an egg farm, and they are re...ady for adoption into permanent homes! Apply to Adopt Today!

Animal Place will be holding an adoption event on Saturday,
September 24th at Western Feed and Supply in Carmichael.
Scheduled adopters only, please do not show up unannounced.

Adoption fees offset the costs of the rescue:
1-4 hens $10 each, 5-9 hens $7 each, and 10-15 hens $5 each.

Our facilities are located in Grass Valley (Sierra Foothills) and Vacaville, both in California. For the most part, adopters are expected to pick up hens at one of these locations. When possible, we set up adoption events in northern California and rarely in southern California.

Nice day in the park today. Whew. Last week end was a little too exciting for us. Hope everyone enjoyed the festival. Enjoyed the rain the other day and last night, perfect fall weather today.
