Intellectual dishonesty: wealthy corporations should be forced to pay higher taxes to create a more just social system and to contribute more to their communiti...es.

Intellectual truth: all corporate taxes are a form of unseen or hidden tax that the consumer ultimately pays through the cost of goods purchased - including those supposedly tax exempt groceries.

Conjecture: if we eliminated all corporate and income taxes, implementing a national sales tax instead, taxation would be transparent, equitable, and unavoidable even by those greedy corporations and ultra wealthy. In fact, you could institute a luxury tax on goods priced at a specific point so that the wealthy pay more for their opulent lifestyles or exempt specific goods such as groceries so the necessities for survival remain affordable. Imagine the economic engine that would jump to life under such a system in the United States!

This will give you pretty much all the information you need to know about the Fair Tax. The thing I like about it the most is it immediately closes all loop hol...es, if you pay for goods or services you pay your tax then. The other thing is there's no forms save a simple 3X5 card to file your taxes. Check it and I'm sure you agree it's a Fair Tax for me. عرض المزيد

The FairTax is the only tax plan that will or even can abolish the IRS. If you don't have a business that sells new retail products or services, then you will N...EVER be audited again. But best of all, it will eliminate more than half of all all lobbying activity in Washington, meaning that our elected officials will have to spend more time listening to constituents, instead of out-of-work lobbyists. I have been a fan since it's inception! Neal Boortz is someone I miss, he was a flag bearer for this simple but very effective way to raise revenue with an even playing field for rich and poor.

The only reason we tax people's income is because Karl Marx said to. We need to kill that bad idea put a tax plan in place that encourages good financial behavior and minimizes government corruption. The Fair Tax does that and a whole lot more.

Taxes are next on the agenda?? Before re-inventing the wheel, take a good look at the FairTax (HR-25) (S-18). The bill is already written!! HR-25 has 38 co-spon...sors and S-18 has 4 co-sponsors. It's the most researched tax proposal in existence. Once you understand it, you will demand it. De-fund the IRS! End the headache of filing income taxes! عرض المزيد

I've been a strong advocate for FairTax since Neal Boortz's first book. The full analysis with all the details (including the "prebate" that nearly all critics ignore) forms an unassailable argument for the FairTax over all other "tax reform" proposals.

More wishful thinking on the part of libertarians. Actual implementation of this sort of plan would be highly regressive, quite the opposite of what we should want a tax system to be.

Remember, just because something is simpler doesn't mean it's better.

Sounds good to me. this way EVERYONE pays the same tax. The more money you spend, the more taxes you pay.
