Here's the latest on Andrew Brunson, on trial for his Christian faith. Aykan Erdemir—a former member of the Turkish parliament and now a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies in Washington, D.C.—said Brunson’s 18-month, pre-trial imprisonment “has become a sort of torture.” Watch the 15-minute video interview at cbn.com/…/pastor-andrew-brunson-sent-back-to-prison-in-dist…. And please continue to pray!!
Iran is in our prayers this week. Any Muslim who leaves Islam faces the death penalty, although authorities haven’t acted on this law in recent years. Please pray that the laws will change, allowing for freedom of religion. For a Muslim family, it is a great disgrace when one of its members leaves Islam. Pray also for Christians who have been cursed and disowned by their families for their faith.

As we prepare for Pastor Andrew Brunson's long awaited trial on 4/16, please join me in praying for Andrew. What a privilege to pray for him. May God's glory and goodness be made known to all during this trial in ways we cannot ask or imagine.
Yemen is on our hearts this week. There is a humanitarian crisis in Yemen and they are lacking both food and clean water. Please pray for God to provide these essentials. Pray too that the secret believers from Muslim backgrounds will be protected, and will have courage and perseverance in their faith. May God touch the hearts of ISIS and Al Qaeda extremists with the truth of the gospel.
Many encouraging messages report people coming to Christ in the southern parts of Iraq - please pray for God to provide good shepherds for His people in this region. Thank God for the many displaced persons who have been able to return to their villages since ISIS was driven out. Pray for priests and pastors in Iraq, that they might be living examples of Christ’s presence.
How beautiful. Enjoy!!
If only we could bottle their energy!!
