I've been to a few of these restaurants but drive to the one in Belmont for a few reasons. 1) the servers are on top of their game - friendly, constantly stopping to see if you need anything and speed...y. 2) 'every server is your server' is genius because you are never sipping at the dregs of your drink - someone is always there to refill it. 3) computerized everything means no mucked up orders and everyone knows what you are drinking (been 3x and no one has ever tried to give me sweet instead of unsweet tea). 4) Friendly staff - everyone is friendly and everyone is nice, and it's kind of like going to your grandma's for breakfast, but with no family drama. Yes, the price point is higher than if you went to a diner, but this is not a diner: this is a fantastic breakfast restaurant. Now if I could just stop only eating the huevos rancheros and try something else... next time, maybe. Oh and finally, sometimes people think 'Belmont...' - it's 20 minutes door-to-door from downtown Charlotte. Go - you won't be disappointed. See More

My friend Holly and I brought our two kids (an infant and a toddler) here for breakfast. It was extremely family friendly. We got our food fast (which we all know is important when you have hungry chi...ldren). Customer service was amazing, food was delicious (strongly recommend the cal benny and corned beef hash). Don't forget to order orange juice (it's squeezed fresh right when you order it). I will certainly be returning! See More

This was my first (of hopefully many) visits to the Belmont Famous Toastery. We'd been to the Charlotte locations before, so we were excited about Belmont getting one.

I worried about going on the o...pening weekend, especially with a hungry four year old who gets hangry sometimes, but getting there early guaranteed no wait. There were plenty of super friendly staff waiting to help us, and the neat thing about FT is that every server is your server. So we had our order placed, drinks out, and food on our table in literally no time.

The French toast was light with a bit of crisp, the bacon was thick, and scrambled eggs were fluffy. I peaked someone's breakfast burrito from a few tables over and that's what I'll try next. That thing looked thick, just like I like em.

I'll be back soon. You should go too. Everyone in Belmont needs the Famous Toastery in their life.

Had never been to a Famous Toastery, but now I don't think I could live without it. Went in today with my wife and another couple. Sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by Brandon. This guy was i...n the zone and was extremely personable. He was making drinks and chatting, and you could tell he genuinely loved what he was doing. The food was amazing! Although my order was wrong, Brandon was on top of it all. A simple mistake to be honest, and he was ready to get me what I had originally planned to eat. However, I still ate what was brought out and it was awesome. Honestly, it made me try something new and I wasn't disappointed!

We're definitely going to go back and we can't wait! A huge thanks to Brandon for making the experience awesome.

First visit was a success. We had to wait ~10 minutes but the nice gentleman working the door offered us OJ and coffee while we waited. Brandon, our server, was great. He recommended the huevos ranche...ros with added pico and chorizo...amazing! My husband had an omelet with fresh squeezed OJ and the little one had pancakes, bacon and eggs. Everyone enjoyed their meal and said they wanted to go back. I’m sure we will have many more weekend mornings at The Toastery. See More

Just left here. Service was friendly but the food took almost an hour to come out and my potatoes were cold and my eggs Benedict had no flavor. It also came out after the other two people at my table ...already had eaten half of their food. Very disappointing. See More

Second visit, my eggs Benedict were a tad to well done and the coffee was a bit better but a good place for breakfast/brunch. Need more places like this one especially on Sundays.

A friend and I went for lunch. I didn't realize that they had something other than breakfast until after I had ordered. I would have been nice if the wait staff had mentioned this. However, everything... was good. Loved the french toast. See More
