We had an awesome DC Metro Region Holiday Event. Good food, fellowship and fun. Please allow me to introduce our youngest and newest Federal Triangle Chapter member, Ms. Peyton. She did a phenomenal job with the games. She was the Engineer for her Team’s group exercise. Welcome to FEW Peyton! We train them young!!!

The Virginia Black History Month Association James Farmer Scholarship
It is my honor to officially announce the 2018 James Farmer Scholarship. The scholarship ...is open to all African-American High School students enrolled in any Spotsylvania County, City of Fredericksburg, Caroline County or Westmoreland County Virginia High School with plans to pursue a higher education.
The winners receive:
•Monetary awards from the Virginia Black History Month Association.
•Each of the three top winners will receive two complimentary tickets to the Virginia Black History Month Gala where the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be announced.
•The first place winner will receive a large poster-size check with his/her name and $1,000 dollars written on the check.
•A complimentary gift from the Virginia Black History Month Association.
• A complimentary family portrait with a professional photographer at the Gala.
•A Certificate of Achievement from the Virginia Black History Month Association.
