There are a few stores downtown with great Christmas lights.


Last year's winner of business Christmas lights contest is Preston Parks of Industrial Credit Union. We will be looking for new winner this year. Christmas lights that can be seen outside your business.

Improving the local economy and revitalizing the downtown area of Ferndale are the two main goals of the Ferndale Downtown Association.

The huge pumpkin at the Harvest Festival today weighed 92 and a smidge pounds. Two of the winners got their pumpkins but someone took the third before the winner got there to pick it up.
The winners of the pumpkin bowling will be called this afternoon.

Our Harvest Festival is Sunday, Oct. 15 12 to 2. It will be held at the ball fields next to the Boys and Girls Club. We will have small pumpkins to draw faces on, apple toss, bean bag toss, ring toss, golf ball into the pumpkin mouth, cookies and cider, scarecrows to color, guess the weight of the huge pumpkin, pumpkin bowling, face painting, and a pumpkin and scarecrow scene for fall pictures. This is a free event for children.

The Ferndale Downtown Association will host the 2017 Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 15th from noon to 2 pm. There will be fun games and crafts for the kids to enjoy. This is a free event.
