Seismologists believe there is no immediate danger to the region, including from tsunamis. Professor Richard Robertson, of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (SRC) said that, in the event of an eruption, KeJ would not emit enough material to displace enough water for a tsunami, but the release of gas could reduce the buoyancy of ships nearby.

Now you see it. Now you Don't. This is an amazing time lapse.
Mammoth Mountain posted an amazing time-lapse video of the major winter storm/blizzard that impacted the Sierra last week.
A lot of us have gotten these calls or they have left messages on our phones.
Here's a great take on one of these calls.
Don't fall for these scammers.
This video has gone viral! What!? 😱 See our response here > https://www.facebook.com/MidlandTxPD/videos/2030595473850210/
Thanks for helping us expose these s...cammers!
ORIGINAL: It's IRS scam call season and nobody is immune, including Officer Stief. He was on the phone for over 30 minutes with six different "IRS" representatives. He just wanted to know how to not get arrested! 😂
Don't forget, this is a very real scam that many people fall victim to. The IRS says they will ALWAYS contact you by mail first before calling you. And they will NEVER ask you to pay using a debit card, wire transfer, or cashier's check... or Apple gift cards. 🤦♂️
Tip of the day.

10 PM - Official snow measurement at NWS Reno near TMCC is 4.9" since 4 PM with a water content of 0.25". Makes for a fluffy 19-20:1 ratio! Reno Airport checked... in with 4.5" new snow. Overall the snow has lightened up some, but we still expect snow to continue light to moderate intensity through midnight in Western Nevada. Heavier snow continuing in the Sierra into the overnight hours. Travel not recommended! Do you really want to drive in this!?

A driver in South Dakota was astounded when he suddenly came upon a huge herd of antelope running down the middle of the road in front of his car. Essentially stuck behind the dozens of dashing animals blocking his drive, Shawn Barber grabbed his cell phone and filmed the remarkable scene. In the amazing video, the herd can be seen traveling a considerable distance along the road ahead of him as a few individual antelope come hurrying alongside his car in an attempt to catch the rest of the herd. Check out Barber's awesome footage
