Come and join us this year at Festival Sundiata, Seattle Center June 9, 10 and 11. We will have entertainment , food, Art Gallery presented by Kimberlys Gems ,National Award winning presentations by Delbert Richardson. The weekend will be special and free of charge to the public. We will have far too much to list here but you surely want to bring the whole family to Festival Sundiata. One of our special guests will be Wale on Saturday night. He just released an new album and ...has be selling out all over the country. We will be announcing another surprise guest soon.we will have 53 vendor booths 3 stages going all the time, an art gallery in the Armary showcasing African American Art, Interactive tables for children and adults alike. You don't want to miss this FREE weekend at Seattle Center. Who knows you might learn African dancing, or Zumba or Salsa, free of charge Please share this great event so that we can fill the campus at Seattle Center with Love!!!!!

Museum Founder and Curator will be honored during the NEA's 2017 Human and Civil Rights Award Dinner in Boston for his storytelling and humanitarian work.

Festival Sundiata: Black Arts Fest Remembers Honorable Sistah Vickie Williams. Outstanding supporter of Sundiata African Cultural Association since 1981. Vickie Williams presence will be truly missed, at Festival Sundiata Black Arts Fest. Her spirit will live on through her legacy of African American literary, education, and entrepreneur leadership, (Owner of Lem's, Life Enrichment Bookstore). Deepest Sympathy to Vickie Williams Family.

This is a weekend produced by Sundiata African American Cultural Association, the same group that brings you Festival Sundiata. We felt that the community deserved this great event during Black History Month. We proudly present Cultural Xpressions, a cultural event you don't want to miss. Check the schedule on the flyer there is too much to list here. It's free to the public, space permitting, Once the tickets are gone they are gone.
