Miami and New England picked well with what they had. While Detroit reached on most every pick and Kansas City gave up a lot for their QB.
We ran this weekend NFL Draft results through the First-Pick.com algorithms and Cleveland and Miami were the overall winners (with Cleveland dominating every facet of the draft)! Dallas and Minnesota were just behind them, while Kansas City and Detroit were at the bottom.

The Pick grade is relatively how well a team drafts at each of the picks they made a selection. The Players grade is for the overall haul of players. The Future grade if relative accumulation or loss of future picks. The overall score is a weighted combination of these grades and reflected here as a grade (there is a score on the site).
New England, for example did an excellent job of selecting players, but only had 4 selections, thus the Player score was relatively weak compared to teams that had more selections.

Garrett is a solid pick that may be the overall number 1 selection in this year’s draft. Forget what Warren Sapp said. He has been wrong about early DL picks in the past (Jadeveon Clowney). Garrett is as worthy of a top-3 selection as any player in this year’s class. I especially like this quote from Garrett on why a team should draft him early: “Because I'll be a difference maker from day one. And I'm not gonna be in any trouble. I'm just gonna make plays and bring a good atmosphere to your organization. And I'm gonna start winning and winning now.” Love the attitude as much as the play on the field.
