well it's been a year now that my house in VA has been on the market and still has not even had a hint of an offer. My husband has been in VA with the house and my son and I have been in KY with family. We will be spending the summer in VA. Flour & Iced is temoprarily on hold until we can get this house sold and into a new one in KY. I appolagize for any inconvenience this causes. Hopefully things will get sorted out soon!!

The bottom tier of this cake was devils food cake layered with fresh sour cherry preserves and Swiss buttercream. The top two tiers were carrot cake layered with Swiss buttercream. There was also a 1/2 sheet French vanilla bean cake layered with Swiss buttercream. The whole cake was frosted with French buttercream.

Had my first meeting this week with a lovely bride, since my move to KY. I'm really excited about this new adventure and I am looking forward to creating a wedding cake for Brandi and Joe next month
I made French macarons for the first time today, and they were so good They weren't as difficult to make as everyone makes them out to be. I made dark chocolate blueberry filled, white chocolate mango, and cherry IMB filled. Sorry no pictures, my camera is packed already.
