Sharing the love this love season. Jon’s latest hand carved maple wood spoon alongside organically grown rose petals from our front yard. (An update-For Now Tiny Homes is currently taking a winter break from any big projects and focusing on small ones from the heart-carving spoons, making ash splint baskets, painting watercolor cards. We still love tiny houses! As before, we are rarely on facebook so please reach out to us through our website if you would like to be in touch!) #handmade #oneofakind #artbytinyhousebuilder #smallspaceliving #winterisforart #bythefire #valentinesday #roses

Happy birthday to me! Yesterday was my birthday and my hubby, the craftsman behind our tiny houses, made me a birch bark canister. It was his first one and is from bark he collected locally with a local maple wood top. We've not been posting regularly but always welcome inquiries through our website.
Our July Newsletter is out!
The path to this tiny house tells part of the story of its build. Lots of the cardboard boxes will suppress the grasses for a woodchip path to the tiny. I'm grateful to say we really kept construction waste to a minimum on this project. Every week we put out only one small bag of garbage which included all of our household trash as well. #mulching #tinyhousemovement #constructionwaste #composting #thow
Happy interdepence day:). Everyone spends such days a little bit differently. Jon installed the kitchen faucet this morning. I finished the backside of the kitchen table. I do plan to get some beach time this afternoon. How will you spend the day?
Lagoon is the color we picked for the cabinets. It's the one on the top. We are having fun adding in some playful colors in the tiny house:). It's hard to get a good idea of what it is from the picture- the blue box will be built in shelves in the bathroom. The orange door goes to the bathroom .
