Tuesday, Dec 13 (tomorrow) BC and the Key Club (which is the high school level of the Builders Club) will be gathering in Mr. Hodges room right after school for a holiday party and making of gifts for the women's shelter. Join us.

We will need 5-6 BC members to help serve dinner at The Center. It is a wonderful time to give back to our community and serve our seniors in the community. Transportation is not provided. Recap from today's meeting:
1. If you are joining BC, we are ordering shirts. Kiwani's helps pay for them - THANK YOU. See Mr. Hodge to get on the list and get your size.
2. Coats for kids - we collected and delivered 60 coats from our drive. So very cool!
3. Flowers - We delivered our first batch of monthly flowers to support staff around the school. They greatly appreciated it and said community members loved them as well.
4. Flavored water - BC manages the water mach...ine by the gym. Members voted for the cost increase to $1.25 as the previous price was not covering costs/labor. The money we earn goes to events and charities voted on by the club.
5. Giving tree - annually during the holiday season we do a 'Giving tree' where anyone can take an ornament and bring in an unwrapped gift for someone in need.
6. We are working on securing dates to serve the monthly meal at The Center. See our listed events for the dates and time.

Once again, meetings will be on the 1st and 15th of every month (if they fall on the weekend we will have the meeting on the closest school day).

New this year for our BC members will be meetings on the 1st and the 15th of every month. If those dates fall on a weekend the meeting will take place to the closest school day. All meetings are first thing in the morning (roughly 8 am) in Mr. Hodges science room in 8th grade, POD B. Just head down as soon as you arrive to school. We understand that buses sometimes don't get there until after 8 - that's ok! Join us when you arrive. (if you remember, they used to be on Thursday mornings every other week).

See you there!

WOW, we are already TWO months into the school year. Our club has been extremely busy already. We have completed a coat drive that produced over 60+ coats that will be donated to shelters in the area. We will continue that coat drive but now you can bring your coats directly to Crystal Cleaners. They are extremely generous in taking care of the donations before they get sent to those in need. THANK YOU BC members and the Forestview family!

TOMORROW, yep tomorrow is the FIRST day of the 2016-2017 school year. Enjoy every day as it really does go fast.

Stay tune to daily announcements about the kick off meeting for Builders Club (probably in a couple of weeks). EVERYONE is welcome. Coming to a meeting doesn't obligate you to anything. Come hear what its all about. Mr. Hodge is pretty cool!

Our BC members are treated so so well when we bowl at the Good Samaritan bowl-a-thon! Food and treats galore. THANK YOU!!
