Many protests are taking place this weekend in Lafayette Square D.C.

The Founders’ great friend the Marquis de Lafayette, after whom Lafayette Square is named, would disdain both groups of demonstrators.

As an abolitionist, and as a fighter for the liberty of all people everywhere, he’d despise the white supremacists.
