We realised as soon as we arrived we'd left it too long since our last visit. It's such a lovely, friendly place and it's like staying with old friends! Little touches like a cafetiere, fresh milk a...nd real coffee in the room, plus the yummy flapjacks and shortbread make it special. The room was very comfortable, and all the food we ate was outstanding, the only tricky thing was leaving enough space for pudding. We had a couple of long walks too, a beautiful area. See More

I grew up spending summers in Parracombe at my grandparents house and the Fox & Goose was always a staple of our visit. Was thrilled to be able to take my son there recently to stay a couple of night ...and the rooms, service and quality of food were just absolutely superb! Thanks so much for a lovely visit - hope to be back soon. See More

I don't even know where to start! We had a long drive down! We were welcomed with warm homemade flapjacks and shortbread! Fresh milk for teas, coffees an hot choccys!!
The bed was like sleeping in a h...uge marshmallow! Lovely!! So helpful and the rooms were fully refurbed and clean!
Breakfast was amazing lots of choice and the homemade granola was lovely! We both had cooked to perfection breakfast! If we ever come back we will definitely be staying here!! We didn't get a chance to eat in the pub but the menu looked great! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!! Xxx

Sorry for not saying sooner. Four of us stayed here for a few days at the end of May (The Geocachers) Whilst it's not particularly cheap you certainly get what you pay for. The rooms were superb where... you get spoilt on the little things and the food? Oh boy! If it can be homemade it is, From the pies for dinner to the homemade jams for breakfast. This is the best B&B we have stayed at to date, The staff were fantastic and they will go out of their way just to put a little smile on their customers faces. When we are in North Devon next I'll be definitely staying here again. The owners are a great family with young kids that are a joy to be around so keep it up and we wish you all the best. See More

Had lunch here today and it was lovely. Was also really nice to have 2 vegan choices on the menu which was a pleasant surprise, I chose the nutroast and it was amazing, so tasty.

Oh wow, didn't even think of looking for these guys on Facebook!? 4 of us stayed here end of May for a walking holiday, from spotlessly clean rooms to the home made shortbread and flapjacks waiting fo...r you every afternoon you couldn't ask for more from this B and B. Oh and the showers.......You will not want to get out of the showers, they are to die for!!!
The cooked breakfast every morning was AMAZING!!! The Landlady had a little cheer on the final morning when I couldn't manage a full English for the 4th morning on the trot, they beat me :-)
And a final nod to the bar staff, for a few real ale lovers to find a new local beer that went down very well with us, jugs of Pimns, pints of cider also kept the girls going into the night too!!!
Can not fault this absolute jewel of a B and B, will definitely be back. Thank you guys!!!

Had their fillet steak - small but totally delicious. The sides of mushrooms, tomatoes, rings and potato wedges was good!
Had their camembert and garlic - couldn't get enough of it!
Will go back another time to try the duck confit and seafood dishes.

Just like to say a massive thanks to John and Vanessa at Edd's Greengrocers at Mullacott Cross for coming out on a Sunday with supplies so we weren't without, talk about that for service!! Brilliant, thanks guys. #eddsgreengrocers

Well fancy making the BBC 10 o'clock news!!

Unfortunately we won't be cooking roast tomorrow as no supplies getting through, this is a first in 13 years!! Sorry for any inconvenience! xx

Hi all, due to the on going weather conditions the 'Big Breakfast' we had planned for Friday is being postponed until further notice, due to the fact that the supplies can't get to us, and you can't have a brekkie without the bacon!! Sorry for any disappointment and we will re-schedule soon. Cheers, Nikki. P.s could someone try and get hold of Liz Bray and let her know as I don't think she does Facebook. Thanks x

Latest award from, thanks for all your kind words! #guestsloveus
