Congratulations to the three recipients of the second annual James W. Foley Freedom Awards: Delphine Halgand, the U.S. Director of Reporters without Borders; Emma Beals, co-founder of the Frontline Freelance Register; and CNN Senior International Correspondent Arwa Damon. The Foley Foundation will honor Halgand, Beals, and Damon for walking in the footsteps of the courageous conflict journalists and advocating for press freedom and journalists around the world. Awards will be presented on May 1, 2017, at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.

We would like to thank everyone near and far who helped us celebrate the life and legacy of Journalist James W. Foley. Although this year's race is over, we hop...e to continue this year's success in the 3rd Annual James W. Foley Freedom run next year! We had about 1300 runners and walkers, over 75 children run our kids fun run, over a hundred volunteers and hundreds of supporters who didn't run or walk who help cheer and celebrate! Our hearts are overwhelmed with love, we run to remember, we run to unite and together we #irunforjim
