What Happens After Someone Survives Ebola?: Read more on this subject: Science, Medicine and Technology News Story Source: popsci.com While most of the recent coverage of the ongoing Ebola outbreak has focused on rising death tolls and a fe...w infected U.S. citizens, other segments of the population have passed mostly unnoticed from the harsh glare of the media spotlight: Survivors, and those who are seemingly immune to Ebola. People who survive Ebola can lead normal lives post-recovery, though occasionally they can suffer inflammatory conditions of the joints afterwards, according to CBS. Recovery times can vary, and so can the amount of time it takes for the virus to clear out of the system. The World Health Organization found that the virus can reside in semen for up to seven weeks after recovery. Survivors are generally assumed to be immune to the particular strain they are infected by, and are able to help tend to others infected with the same strain. What isn't clear is whether or not a person is immune to other strains of Ebola, or if their immunity will last. Read More or Make a Comment See More

A high-ranking official and, say, CNN's Christiane Amanpour need only say "Boogeyman!" and Americans line up for orders. "Americans are increasingly concerned that ISIS represents a direct terror threat, fearful that ISIS agents are living in the United States, according to a new CNN/ORC International poll. Most now support military action against the terrorist group," CNN reported in September. "Seven in 10 Americans believe ISIS has the resources to launch an attack against the United States." Hydros HY-X flying yacht features retractable hydrofoils: Read more on this subject: Transportation News Story Source: http://www.gizmag.com/, By C.C. Weiss Major shows like Cannes and Monaco have hosted several retractable hydrofoils, inc...luding the shape-shifting Kormaran and the Sunreef 40 H. Now, Swiss hydrofoil outfit Hydros has demonstrated its HY-X, the prototype of an eventual 41-foot (12.5-m) yacht that will be able to motor across the water or fly above it. It would seem that the race is on to get the first 40-foot retractable luxury hydrofoil on the water, as Hydros' planned boat is a mere foot longer than the design previewed by Sunreef. So far, Hydos is winning, having wowed the boat show crowds with the working HY-X prototype, rather than just a rendering. The design uses a retractable hydrofoil system developed in cooperation with French firm JMKoncept. The two side foils can be deployed into the water at the push of a button, lifting the boat about a meter (3.3 ft) above the surface for reduced drag, higher speeds and improved efficiency. Now the Pentagon — run by a Vietnam veteran, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel — is planning a 50th anniversary commemoration of the Vietnam War. The effort, which is expected to cost taxpayers nearly $15 million by the end of this fiscal year, is intended to honor veterans and, its website says, "provide the American public with historically accurate materials" suitable for use in schools. Since natural gas emits half as much CO2 as coal, many experts were hopeful that the recent natural gas boom could help slow down climate change, the authors said. While government analyses did indicate that natural gas did play a role in declining US carbon emissions from 2007 through 2012, reliance upon shale processing could hamper the development of other, more economical energy sources such as wind, solar and nuclear energy. This filtered water was pumped into a 1,000-gallon tank in my basement. All surface water is subject to some contamination, but in all the years it was used it never gave me any problems. I finally had it tested, and the bacteria count was some 50 times what was allowed. After that test, I figured I was living on borrowed time and decided to do something about it. After some research and having used it on my hot tub, I decided on an ozone system. The advantage of ozone is there is no chemical added to the water. Ozone is just oxygen with an extra oxygen atom temporarily attached to the normal O2 molecule. This acts like a super oxidizer that kills any living particle it encounters in the water tank. This includes bacteria, viruses, and various spores, like Giardia. Ozone then reverts within a second or two to a normal oxygen molecule and bubbles out of the tank. This Cart Proves That Electric Cars Could Be Powered By Radio Waves: Read more on this subject: Transportation News Story Source: gizmodo.com Researchers in Japan, though, may have come up with a breakthrough to overcome some of those obsta...cles by powering an electric car using short-range radio waves. The system was jointly developed by Toyota Central R&D Labs and researchers at the Toyohashi University of Technology, and it involves converting electricity into radio frequency using high-speed inverters, which is then delivered to vehicles while they're driving using a metal track embedded just beneath the surface of the road. The electric vehicle itself is able to then conduct electricity from the RF signal using the steel belts already inside its tires. The system unfortunately doesn't mean you can just flip on your electric car's radio whenever you need to top off its battery, but it does mean vehicles can be almost perpetually powered while on the road, reducing the size of battery they require, and eliminating the need for charging stations dotting the country. As you may know, I've done more than my share of civil disobedience. From danci...ng at the Jefferson Memorial to loading a shotgun two blocks from the White House and being arrested over three dozen times, at least when it comes to the flashy, headline-grabbing type of performance art civil disobedience, I've got a very entertaining track record. But that's not enough. In fact, it has almost zero tangible relevance to government! The most important kind of civil disobedience is that which actually disempowers the state right now. Governments don't exist in order to take away our rights. They take away our rights in order to exist so that they can rip us off. The most effective way to disempower the state is to keep it from ripping you off. The most important way to do that is to stop using the dollar as much as you can. Here's where to start: AmagiMetals.com. Liberated, Adam PS Please check out thefreedomline.com for bo Read More or Make a Comment See More
Arizona Liberty Update from Matt Papke: Read more on this subject: Arizona's Top News News Story Source: Matt Papke Hello Patriots! Fellow freedom fighters, Liberty is far from dead in Arizona. Although it has been a while since this newsle...tter has been sent out, I can assure you much has been happening during that pause. First, I know many of us were crushed when Ron Paul had the Republican nomination stolen from him. I know many of us were enraged when Rand Paul endorsed Mitt Romney. I know the sense of dejection and futility we all felt. But did we give up? I write you today to plead for your liberty. As you have read in the news there are major shifts occurring in our national government and beyond. The ability for non-US interests to influence elections and therefore our elected officials is greater than anytime in our history. If we do not rise up dire times may lurk on the horizon. It is up to you to be your very own Paul and Paulina Revere to your friends and family. There are more of us than them, it is that simple. Hopefully this news let Read More or Make a Comment See More
The Top Six Reasons Why You Shouldn't Fear Going Offshore: Read more on this subject: Economy - Economics USA Feature Article by Mark Nestmann In my nearly 30 years of helping Americans "internationalize" themselves, there are four giant ob...stacles I have watched my clients overcome before finally taking action: Inertia, fear, complacence, and hopelessness. All four of these obstacles are self-imposed, by the way. There is certainly nothing illegal about moving assets outside the US. Of the four, the one that probably comes up the most is hopelessness – the belief that it's "too late" to do anything. The idea that "no matter what I do, Uncle Sam will find a way to grab it." That objection has come up a lot more in the last year or so, now that laws like the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) have increased restrictions on offshore bank secrecy with respect to the IRS. Here's how one client put it: Won't the IRS just add up the total value of my assets – here and abroad – apply the tax rate, and collect (or confiscate) domestic assets as needed t Read More or Make a Comment See More
Houston, Texas: No Freedom Of Speech For Pastors: Read more on this subject: American History Opinion Column by Chuck Baldwin Thomas Jefferson rightly noted that big cities are the "bane" of freedom. And in a letter to James Madison, Jeffer...son wrote, "When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become corrupt as in Europe." Modern America is a living testament to Jefferson's sagacity. Unlike early America, the vast majority of the U.S. population now lives in large metropolitan areas. And it is the big-government machinations of big-city politicians that are leading the charge for America's surrender to Big Brother. Houston, Texas, is the latest example. Writing for FOX NEWS, Todd Starnes covers the story: "The city of Houston has issued subpoenas demanding a group of pastors turn over any sermons dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or Annise Parker, the city's first openly lesbian mayor. And those ministers who fail to comply could be held in contempt of court. "'The city's subpoena of sermons and ot Read More or Make a Comment See More

Ebola outbreak projections for the United States defy CDC's false assurances: Read more on this subject: Pandemic News Story Source: Natural News Under the leadership of Frieden, the CDC has reached a state of delusional denial that stagger...s the mind, continuing to insist that Ebola cannot be spread through indirect contact (i.e. via contaminated surfaces). The droning mantra of the CDC has now become, "We will consider any options that help reduce risk to Americans." Yet somehow those options do not include air travel isolation -- a fundamental tool in halting any pandemic outbreak. Now that the virus keeps infecting surprising numbers of new victims, the new spin offered in today's congressional testimony is, "American will not experience a serious Ebola outbreak." Fear-Mongering Ahead of Another US False Flag? (Part II): Read more on this subject: WAR Feature Article by Stephen Lendman Fear-Mongering Ahead of Another US False Flag? (Part II) by Stephen Lendman Dick Cheney is an unindicted war crimina...l. He's guilty of genocidal high crimes against peace. He predicts another mass casualty event on US soil. Much worse than 9/11. More on what he said below. Fear-mongering is a longstanding US tactic. False flags are an American tradition. Both schemes usually precede premeditated war plans. They're used to wage war on freedom. Quash human rights. Eliminate civil liberties. Replace them with police state harshness. Post-9/11 National Security Presidential Directive (NSPD) 51 established coup d'etat authority. It masquerades as so-called "continuity of government (COG)." Under catastrophic emergency conditions, defined as: "any incident (real or contrived), regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the US population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions." Their mail service has taken off, expanding to eight favelas in the Rio de Janeiro area.
