Vintage and antique books, fine photography, and all things nautical at this lovely store on Brockville Main Street. I could spend all day here chatting and reading.. ;-)

Beautiful jewelry and art (local as well as from Europe), and my personal fave, hundreds and hundreds of books waiting to tell their stories. If you're ever in Brockville, a must see!

A variety of great excellent stories to read about that only Gordon has the knack to tell it all.

Beautiful store. Amazing selection of interesting books. But owner was distracted today by friends visiting and was not helpful AT all when I asked about a book I'd seen advertised on his ebay site. H...e mentioned it "might" be upstairs. Or "maybe" sold recently. No offer to go look for it. Really no attempt at conversation at all. I felt rather unimportant. Not impressed. See More

I know it's cold and snowy out and it's February but this Friday and Saturday I'm extending the 30% off everything again just to try and get you all out of the house😉👍

While Ms Donkey awaits the call to Bethlehem I would like to wish all From Here To Infinity followers a joyous Christmas and a healthy 2018 topped by every success fate decrees you've earned. Gordon Beck. P.S. The gallery will be staffed but we are away for a month.

Of all the gin joint book stores in all the towns in all the provinces why does he choose mine. With a nod to Bogart and Casablanca, I present Sir John A MacDonald, our first Prime Minister, a Conservative and a noted tippler and Trudeau our latest PM who no doubt enjoys a toke or two. Magnetic North by friend and author Alan Hustak was written for the British market and released for the Christmas season there. It is also available soft cover stateside but due to boilerplate chicanery not in Canada. Alan had the publisher send us a shipment that is nearly sold out so this is Last Call. The gallery From Here To Infinity is at 213 King St West in Brockville. Closed Tuesdays. Oh yes. Sir John the puppet is a Noreen Young replica of her original in The Canadian Museum of History in Ott/Hull.

Now & Zen Blockhouse Island Brockville. Plus Christmas Thingamajigs by Linda Potter at our gallery From Here To Infinity 213 King St West Brockville. Great for the tree or over a door as a mistletoe substitute; heck some even look like a fly fishing lure for the sportsman in your life. Merry Christmas photos: Gordon Beck.

Only in Brockville eh! Colleague and author Alan Hustak had the British publisher send a small shipment to our store, From Here to Infinity. Just released for the British market and likely to prove a best seller there, it is also available stateside as a soft cover from Amazon. Due to a perfect storm of boilerplate smoke and mirrors the release date in Canada is opaque, except for our small but indomitable book store and gallery. On sale as of 11am Thursday Dec 14th, at 213 King St West, Brockville. The review is courtesy of Amazon.

More reasons we love Brockville. Photos Gordon Beck.

One of the highlights of the newly minted King West Village is the Noshery, a cosy resto, opened since the summer at 209 King St West in Brockville. The excellent Grilled Pork Chop w/mango rum and ginger sauce was perfectly paired with a honey/brown lager from Cassel Brewery. Fixings were a delightful fusion of zucchini with broccoli, spinach and eggplant, topped by the Noshery's signature Spiral Potato. Photo: gordon beck.
