We are so happy to have found Georgetown Hill! I have a special needs son who started the last two weeks of the PEP program in June and we saw amazing progress just in two weeks. We wanted to keep the... momentum going, but the summer camp programs specifically tailored for special needs children was beyond expensive ($700 per week). We were referred to Georgetown Hill by another summer camp that said they may be able to accommodate our son and I'm so glad we got in touch. The director, Alicia is amazing and so were my son's teachers, Mr. Ree and Ms. Bree. He went to camp for 7 weeks during the summer and absolutely loved it. His progress in speech and language during those 7 weeks was amazing. He talked about his friends, his teachers and the field trips they would take. We planned on keeping him enrolled during the school year (in addition to the PEP program) part-time in the AM's, but he now has sensory and occupational therapy twice a week and doing all three (PEP, therapy and Georgetown Hill) would just be too much. However, we are very grateful for the time he spent there and appreciate all they did for our son and giving him the extra attention that he needed. We will definitely take him back to camp next summer and also take our daughter there when she is old enough. See More

Let us be clear from the start. THIS PLACE IS WONDERFUL! Georgetown Hill / Appleridge Campus embraced our little 8mo granddaughter and her day and learning care with all the gusto we could hope for i...n those charged with caring for our little one for a significant part of her day. Now nearly two, she gets up each day knowing and excited that something new and different awaits her.

Learning is everywhere and concern for her wellbeing is front and center. Be it their attentiveness to her numerous allergies or their proactive eye towards seeing that she is in the right level and with the right classmates so that she continues to be challenged, the school is a great fit for our always curious grand baby. We’ve never had second thought about enrolling.

As an aside, if top notch care were not enough, an added benefit to all this mental and physical learning is that they WEAR HER OUT and she is ready to go to bed/sleep like clockwork after a little play time, her dinner and a bath. Results may vary, but this alone is a dream come true by any standard of care!

Today the spotlight was on: MS. VIKKI!

Ms. Vikki is enjoying her first year as Lead Pre-k Teacher at Georgetown Hill. She has been teaching preschool for many years and recently obtained her Masters In Early Childhood Education from Towson University. She has two daughters, Eliie and Amelia, who are currently enrolled at our Apple Ridge campus. Ms, Vikki was born and raised in England before moving to Florida in high school. She has been married for 9 years and lived in Maryl...and ever since.

Ms. Vikki loves the joy she gets from teacher, especially when she sees the smiles on her students faces. Seeing the growth of a child from beginning of the school year to the end is one of her favorite things!

Her favorite color: Teal
Her favorite candy: Milk duds
Her favorite hobby: Traveling
Her favorite sport: Soccer
Her favorite season: Fall
