Stop by the Herrick District Library March 6th for this wonderful event led by Ben Cohen!
Students especially love when Jane brings "A Taste of Summer" to campus in February. This annual tradition consists of hot dogs, chips, & lemonade a la summer picnic style.
We are lucky to have such an imaginative Assistant Student Services Coordinator who comes up with such creative displays! Last week, Jane set up a "Steps to Transfer" display alongside a transfer information table. Many of the Community College students on our campus were intrigued by the display and checked out the materials. Who knows? We may just have some more students stepping through the transfer process to become "Lakers for a Lifetime."
On Friday, February 23rd, the Meijer Campus hosted the GVSU Winter 2018 Advising Forum. It was great to have so many friendly, familiar faces back on campus and a full house for the event!
We enjoyed hosting a day filled with brainstorming and collaboration during the OAISD futurePrep'd Academy Kickoff last week - it was a great way to start off the new year!
Volunteers are needed for the annual Street Count Wednesday, January 31st!
If interested, please contact Angel Mendiola firstname.lastname@example.org

Come get your bottle of locally harvested honey at the GVSU Meijer Campus in Holland!
Grand Valley State University students and faculty members have been harvesting honey, and it’s available in Holland for $8 per 16 oz. bottle at the front desk. In early September, members of the student organization GVSU Beekeepers harvested, extracted, and bottled more than 360 pounds of honey from apiaries on campus. The apiaries are part of GVSU’s Sustainable Agriculture Project on the Allendale Campus and Meijer Campus in Holland.
