    This Saturday, March 15 the Galen Kipar Project is playing in Asheville at ISIS Music Hall. Tickets are on sale in advance and at door. We hope you'll join us for an evening of musical obstacle course performances. GKP is at 9pm and Jona...than Scales Fourchestra will wow you into the later part of the evening. We are excited to play music together again for you. Please help us spread the good word to fellow music goers. Free CD's to anyone who travels an hour or more.

    Many thanks to Echo Mountain Studio, Jessica Tomasin, Jon Ashley and Henry Westmoreland for a fun session on Tuesday. We got the meat of two songs down in 8 hours. Piano, vocals, bari sax, tenor sax, trombone and trumpet.

    Looking forward to hearing the kindhearted, esteemed David Gans with Rumpke Mtn. Boys at Pisgah Brewing Co in Black Mountain, NC tonight! These guys have been road-doggin it, come show them some love Asheville. And the word is Mr. Bobby Miller will be sitting in with David, and I'll play a couple tunes as well.

Hosted by the knowledgeable, witty, creators of Southern Culture on the Fly (a Fly Fishing magazine in case you hadn't heard). Event starts at noon. ... Above Octopus Garden on N Lexington Ave. - Asheville, NC.

    Showtime: 12-1:30pm
    Joining Galen will be Aaron Ballance (Dehlia Low) on Dobro.
