Am looking for some volunteers in Japan to take part in a rephotography project between April and June. Involves taking photos and making some pictures in Kobe and Yokohama. Also a chance to use and practice English. Will result in an exhibition in Tokyo. PM me if interested smile emoticon
felt quite surreal requesting to see your own photographs from a museum's collection: http://tinyurl.com/kjjuuhf
First full draft at İzmir University of Economics, any comments welcome smile emoticon

Back to a work in progress at İzmir University of Economics
Been studying... why do a #shelfie when you have a #pilebrary.
Upcoming timetable:
March 11: Portsmouth University (lecture)
March 16: Writtle School of Design (workshop)
March 30: Shizuoka University of Art & Culture (workshop)...
April 3-5: ACAH2015, Osaka (conference)
Triangle Lane (2012), folded archival print signed and boxed with map
It's one thing to fold a test print on cheaper paper; it's quite another to deliberately put folds in an archival print! Needs a lot of courage!
Work in progress: views of the new building under construction at İzmir University of Economics. The views are intended to be combined with the same views when the building is completed, but they are equally interesting by themselves.
Mount Mitake, 2008 (reworked in 2015) Reworking old images from seven years ago is interesting because I find myself recalling how they were photographed. Its like remixing my own work, or is it remastering?
I'm not usually one for monochrome as it often requires the removal of colour in post. However, I thought I would try it with these pieces gathered in March 2008 in a valley near Mount Mitake outside Tokyo. This is only a detail but the trees lend themselves well to it. Needs more work but its interesting.
