During our recent Buildings by Design course held with Empowering Design Practices project, three groups (from Bow, Sheffield and Stratford-upon-Avon) rediscovered their historic buildings, developed a critical eye for design, and tested new ideas for the future of their spaces.
Sometimes, when a community-based organisation is looking after a building, the challenges of the everyday can be overwhelming. This is particularly true when the building must cater to a variety of different needs and users and when it is in need of refurbishment. When the heritage of the building

We're very excited to be participating in the Utopia Fair at Somerset House next weekend, from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th June.
