New music night!!! Such a lovely feeling getting your new pack and delving in to see what you will be learning!! And lovely to meet a new member who joined tonight and a member returning from a break - has it really been three years Sarah????

Germs are rife amongst us all so no rehearsal tonight to help everyone recover! So one night off but then we are straight back on it with new music! It does mean anyone who was swithering about whether they might join us for the next one has another week to think about it!!!!!

GLITS, an all-female Edinburgh choir, are looking for new members to join us from February onwards, when we will start working on a new and varied programme to perform in October 2018. We enjoy a very wide range of music and perform regularly to raise money for local and Scottish charities.

We're a friendly group, of all ages, who love to sing, work hard at our repertoire and have fun. We meet every Tuesday evening at 7.30pm in the Bruntsfield area of Edinburgh. Although the ability to read music would be advantageous, it is not essential. We do, however, expect commitment to regular Tuesday rehearsals, and to performing our repertoire from memory. Check us out on our Facebook page @Glitschoir for a peek at our performances.

If you would like more information, contact us on glits@hotmail.co.uk or get in touch with Alison on 07751 274018.

What a great night performing our lighthearted tribute to Robbie Burns in the Crook of Devon village hall. It was a fabulous evening with only a couple of minor hiccups (nobody will have noticed)!!! Now we can't wait to do it all again at Lauriston Hall this Thursday and Friday!!

Glits shared their event.

Burns day may well be past but you can still get your fix of Burns to last you until next January by joining us at Lauriston Hall next Friday!!

We had a great time singing at the JCI Edinburgh Burns Evening tonight. It was a lovely chance to give our Burns songs a good sing in preparation for our Immortal Memory coming soon to a venue near you (Lauriston Hall, 1st and 2nd of February).

Think this chuckle should be seen once a year!

Beautiful, and one that we sang in our last concert.

This is the kind of greeting I want next time I come home from a trip!!! What a welcome!!! #love

I know it isn't Thursday but I can't resist this "throwback". I came across it whilst trawling through my old emails. An encore in 2010!!
