It is with a broken heart that I let everyone know that Miss Ruth (my 15 year old beagle) passed away in my arms at 3:30 Sunday morning. For those of you that have met and been so good to her and her daughter Piggy that I lost in April, I sincerely thank you! My whole life revolved around them and it's definitely a very big change, so I also appreciate all of the understanding with how my schedule has been changed around again. I am still trying to catch back up on getting everyone scheduled and have a lot of miles to travel.
If it seems like I have kinda disappeared from Facebook and have struggled returning messages in a timely matter for a few months, there's some reasons why... one reason is that I have been having some health issues and quite a few unexpected trips home for doctor appointments and tests. I also had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Piggy when she crossed the rainbow bridge. Those that know me & her, know that she was part of my heartbeat. She relapsed with kidney problems from... last year, I did everything I could, but she lost the battle on April 26. I had my hands on her as soon as she was born so long ago and was holding her when she left. Here it is almost 2 months later and I can't type this out without crying my eyes out. I lost her about 2 weeks shy of her 14th birthday. Her mama (my beagle), Miss Ruth, is going on 15 years old and showing her age but is doing good at this point. So... If I haven't seemed like myself and it's shown that I have somewhat gone in to "hermit mode", I hope y'all can understand.
I am absolutely thrilled with how well I got this girl's hooves trimmed up! The after-effects are that she's walking great on her "new shoes" (lol) and her milk production has noticeably increased. I love my job!!!

Here are pictures of goat hooves before, during and after a good trim. These goats were bought (rescued) by my friend in this condition with knowing I would be there to fix them, so no rude comments please (we all know things happen in life that shouldn't, so I prefer to focus on the fact that they're now feeling much better with new hooves). I'm absolutely thrilled to say that after I trimmed the other "milkers" at this farm that their milk production significantly increased! That shows just one of the major benefits of healthy hooves. In this group of pics, I have included some that show more steps of the trimming and what the hooves look like when part of the growth and packed "stuff" is removed.

He would like him to be between 1-3 years old, have good horn genetics and a good temperment. His price range depends on distance. You can contact him by email at email@example.com
