Join us on Tuesday, January 16th for our next Classics @ the Smith evening. We are thrilled to have Trio Bel Suono performing music by Francis Poulenc, Madeleine Dring and Casimir Theophile- Lalliet. Trio Bel Suono is Marea Chernoff on oboe, Richard Epp on piano, and David Overgaard on bassoon. Doors are at 6:30, and the performance is at 7:30 in the gallery. Tickets are $10 at the door. Some of the wonderful art created by students who participated in our Outreach program. In the Outreach program, an art specialist teacher from Artists for Kids visits a school and provides a lesson to one class in the morning and another in the afternoon.
The owls are based on Kenojuak Ashevak's art and were done with a primary class (K-3). The mountain pieces were based on Roy Henry Vicker's work 'Twin Sisters' and created by intermediate students (g. 4-7).

The Gordon and Marion Smith Foundation for Young Artists is proud to present the 2017 Volunteer Art Exhibition. We will be showcasing the work of eight Gallery volunteers that have shown dedication to the Gordon Smith Gallery as well as commitment to their own artistic practice. Participating artists include Parisa Adab, Kath Bennett, Nigel Henderson, Kate Kerluke, Ishrat Khan, Laleh Mavizisani, Cynthia Sully & Vibri Wulandari. The exhibition can be viewed Monday to Tuesday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Wednesday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
