We have been stallholders in Wellington for 15 years and this would be the be the best market ever. It is lovely to see all the handcraft - looks so colourful and jolly - many markets now are virtuall...y farmers markets selling produce, so it was a breath of fresh air to see people making things. Well done. See More

It was a beautiful morning at Gordonton Country Market. Lots of really creative artists and dedicated growers selling their wares. We went with our shopping list and got everything on it plus found ex...tra amazing produce to tempt us. I do enjoy buying locally directly from the producer. Very fair pricing too. Caught up with some special friends (thanks for your patience Wayne) and enjoyed the relaxed laughter. Looking forward to Saturday 11th April already. See More

I love the Gordonton Market. I have to every one except October when the weather was terrible. It has a great, happy atmosphere and a wonderful variety of wares to choose from - something for everyone!

I visited yesterday for the first time. I was really amazed at the reasonable prices from your vendors. This is not normally at markets such as this nowadays. Really impressed. I'll certainly visit again

We were looking forward to a spring market again on 9 September, 2017. However, we are unable to organise a market as previously advertised.

There are not enough volunteers to co-ordinate and run the parking and the BBQ, the Gordonton Country Market committee agreed that there will not be further markets unless sufficient volunteers are committed.

If you know of anyone willing and able to volunteer for one of these roles at future market/s please email us with their contact d...etails gordontonmarket@gmail.com

I have endeavoured to email current stakeholders, stallholders and others affected by this decision.

Please share this post. Thank you for your interest, participation and support.

Take note of police recommendations to avoid this problem.
