OMG!!! The Pork Belly, Potato and Bacon Soup, and the Squid Crostinis were delicious.
They also have good customer service. The only thing I didn't like was the hour and a half waiting list, but hey, ...there are some sacrifices you have to make for something that good; it was worth it.
Would have given them a 5 star but my Americano was cold. Everyone at our table liked what they ordered. I've grown up with traditiona
l Asian savory porridge with chicken or salted pork & 1000 years... old eggs and American oatmeal with brown sugar &cinnamon so the idea of using steel cut oats and savory ingredient s really intrigue me. It didn't disappoint . The combinatio n of shiitake mushrooms, cabbage and hot oil with the smooth and creamy oatmeal take comfort food to a whole new level.
I had the eggs Benedict with pastrami and sourdough bread. It was sooo delicious!
!! We got there and didn't feel like waiting so we sat at the bar. The bartenders were so funny and nice. We also had a... bottle of the peach bellinis which were also so delicious. Great time and will be back!!
I made a reservatio
n through open table and when I got there I was brought right in to a table with a "reserved" sign which made me feel like a VIP. The food and the service was beyond amazing and the... grand lake kitchen is now my favorite spot when I feel like indulging myself to a great meal. I love it.
The food is so amazing. I had the polenta and pork belly. David had the savory French toast and Chris had the breakfast Sando. I declared myself the winner- the polenta was really delicious and just t...he right amount of cream and cheese. The fresh greens added a nice bite and the pork belly was tender and tasty. I had to get the tuna salad even though it was too much food because it is so delicious!
The savory French toast was really good, I've had it before. The rye bread is so subtlety rye, it doesn't overpower the rest of the dish. What a great brunch!

So we went here because we had just seen an episode of check please. And since this place is fairly close to us,we thought why not. I think I should have gone to their brunch or dinner time. The lunch... was a bit unappealin
g to me. The Brussel sprouts were super roasted almost burnt and really hard still. I should have not ordered the salmon it was ok not great just okay. I'm not sure what their most popular dish is so next time we will ask. The matzoball soup needed seasonings for sure. Oh and the price, pretty high.
It was my birthday and we were looking for something different.
We found this place and thought it sounded great. Love it's casual but hip atmosphere . The vibe is energetic and inviting. We has th...e smoked fish tower. Pricey ($25) for one, but two of us split it. It is not huge, but we were delighted to fill up on this without filling stuffed or like we had overeaten. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Simply put... loved it! Afterwards , we wandered a few doors down to the Oaktown Spice Shop, which I also highly recommend.
was a recommenda tion from our daughter's co-worker. What a great place. Seated within 10 minutes, great service and food. I had the GLK burger, husband and son had the baked chicken di...sh, our daughter had an egg salad dish. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and drinks. Sat outside and had a wonderful evening. Service was great. We will stop in again when in town to visit our daughter.
First time there and it couldn't have been better. We did the 3-5pm "afternoon
" menu and the sandwiches were great! We'll be going back to try the dinner menu.

I love this little hidden gem. The food is fresh and the variety is good . They have taken classics and put their twist on them. They are very busy on the weekend so I would make reservatio
ns. Staff ar...e friendly and attentive without being invasive.

grewup in the area and have past this place dozens of times. Love my chicory salad lunch, Had a bit to much bread (in the place of croutons which I hate) in the salad. The anchovy dressing was kind of... mild , could have used a few anchovies actually in the salad. I gave it a good, because the menu looks so intriguing
and I do want to go back
