OMG!!! The Pork Belly, Potato and Bacon Soup, and the Squid Crostinis were delicious. They also have good customer service. The only thing I didn't like was the hour and a half waiting list, but hey, ...there are some sacrifices you have to make for something that good; it was worth it. See More

My first time here, I found the dish that i had to be very delicious; i just wish hash browns was on the menu, but I ordered some fries😁. Our waiter was very nice and friendly.

Would have given them a 5 star but my Americano was cold. Everyone at our table liked what they ordered. I've grown up with traditional Asian savory porridge with chicken or salted pork & 1000 years... old eggs and American oatmeal with brown sugar &cinnamon so the idea of using steel cut oats and savory ingredients really intrigue me. It didn't disappoint. The combination of shiitake mushrooms, cabbage and hot oil with the smooth and creamy oatmeal take comfort food to a whole new level. See More

I made a reservation through open table and when I got there I was brought right in to a table with a "reserved" sign which made me feel like a VIP. The food and the service was beyond amazing and the... grand lake kitchen is now my favorite spot when I feel like indulging myself to a great meal. I love it. See More

The food is so amazing. I had the polenta and pork belly. David had the savory French toast and Chris had the breakfast Sando. I declared myself the winner- the polenta was really delicious and just t...he right amount of cream and cheese. The fresh greens added a nice bite and the pork belly was tender and tasty. I had to get the tuna salad even though it was too much food because it is so delicious! The savory French toast was really good, I've had it before. The rye bread is so subtlety rye, it doesn't overpower the rest of the dish. What a great brunch! See More

The food is good. A few drawbacks. I was informed by the waitress the cook would not exchange the spinach salad with the arugula salad. The atmosphere was pleasant until a large group sat next to us..., they were very noisy. See More

So we went here because we had just seen an episode of check please. And since this place is fairly close to us,we thought why not. I think I should have gone to their brunch or dinner time. The lunch... was a bit unappealing to me. The Brussel sprouts were super roasted almost burnt and really hard still. I should have not ordered the salmon it was ok not great just okay. I'm not sure what their most popular dish is so next time we will ask. The matzoball soup needed seasonings for sure. Oh and the price, pretty high. See More

It was my birthday and we were looking for something different. We found this place and thought it sounded great. Love it's casual but hip atmosphere. The vibe is energetic and inviting. We has th...e smoked fish tower. Pricey ($25) for one, but two of us split it. It is not huge, but we were delighted to fill up on this without filling stuffed or like we had overeaten. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Simply put... loved it! Afterwards, we wandered a few doors down to the Oaktown Spice Shop, which I also highly recommend. See More

After seeing this place on a Bay Area eats show, we came here. Had to make reservations for 3pm, and the food was good. Tons of people there. The food wasn't what I expected for the price we paid. Any... small town breakfast place has the same expectations See More

This restaurant was a recommendation from our daughter's co-worker. What a great place. Seated within 10 minutes, great service and food. I had the GLK burger, husband and son had the baked chicken, our daughter had an egg salad dish. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and drinks. Sat outside and had a wonderful evening. Service was great. We will stop in again when in town to visit our daughter. See More

First time there and it couldn't have been better. We did the 3-5pm "afternoon" menu and the sandwiches were great! We'll be going back to try the dinner menu.

I love this place because even though a lot of menu items are simple, they are well thought out and delicious. Everything tastes fresh. My favorite is the tuna sandwich and the potato salad.

grewup in the area and have past this place dozens of times. Love my chicory salad lunch, Had a bit to much bread (in the place of croutons which I hate) in the salad. The anchovy dressing was kind of... mild , could have used a few anchovies actually in the salad. I gave it a good, because the menu looks so intriguing and I do want to go back See More
