As some of you noticed I've been carrying a little caterpiller for the last 39 weeks. I had a lot of people asking me today at work what will happen to the clown program when I'm off. Well here is to answer some questions... I won't be off long at all. I love my job and since my job is not a long day I will be off for just enough time to get in the swing of things. I'm still working ( but I did take last week off to get ready) I'm here this week... and if baby is doing well I'll also be around Monday and Tuesday. I figured if I go into labor while working I'm in the best place for it 😁
In 2015 this wonderful young lady by the name of Aimee started making and donating these pencil cases for pediatrics. She would sew them together and fill them up with markers...crayons..gel pens ..stickers..and playdough ❤These cases would then go to children and teens who had a few days to a week stay In the hospital. The children loved them! In 2016 Aimee passed away but her Legacy continued on. This year Santa filled up Aimee's stocking with pens, pencils, markers and gel pens to be donated to the pediatric ward. My heart was deeply touched by Aimee's family ❤

Only us here at the Prairie Mall for the start of the 2Day FM Radiothon. This is the 4th Annual Radiothon and together with 2Day FM we have made a huge differen...ce in our Pediatric patients at the QE 11 Hospital. This year the goal is to raise 14,000 to purchase a Joey Bed. This bed simulates skin to skin for baby. This keeps baby calmer and less stressed as well as maintaining babies body temperature.
You can help us out by donating at the Mall or calling our office at 780-538-7583. Help us to reach our goal.
