Tell people what you think

Mayor George Shivery and Greenwich Township Council would llike to thank the Gloucester County Board of Freeholders and the County Engineering office for taking the lead on this project. Greenwich Township and the County both take the local tidal flooding and watershed issues very serious, as evidenced by them taking this initiative to finally get these permanent pumps funded and placed along our riverbank to help with tidal flooding and watershed issues. This issue not only ...affects Greenwich Township properties but many of our neighboring towns as well. We are so pleased to hear the news that FEMA has awarded the funding for such a project. Along with the matching County funding, we will now see this project come to fruition which will help to alleviate some of our issues with the local tidal flooding.
Thanks again to everyone who has worked on getting this project to this point.
