We are excited to announce our second IBC Talk Speaker, Amanda Bradford!

Amanda Bradford is the Founder & CEO of The League, a dating app that combines data and social graphs from both Facebook and LinkedIn to offer privacy from coworkers, more context about a potential match, and a curated community of ambitious singles who desire an equally driven partner. Amanda previously worked in technical roles at Salesforce and Google and holds an MBA from Stanford and a BS Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon.

Kristy Dickerson, businesswoman, mom of three boys, author of Start Balancing, and active CEO and co-founder of STARTplanner, has devoted her life to providing hope for individuals who are looking to achieve balance, success, and happiness within their own lives! Dickerson has been sought-after for keynote speaking due to her relatable story, no excuses tone, valuable advice, and upbeat personality that she entrenches in all aspects of her brands. She believes and preaches that individuals have the ability to do anything they want, and she shows and inspires them how to be more productive!

"I worked in the Operations Analytics Practice at McKinsey & Co. My team and I worked with a retail company where we leveraged advanced analytics to improve their digital marketing strategy. I traveled to the client site each week Monday through Thursday, and I learned a lot about the evolving role of analytics in the consulting industry!"

Meet Amanda Dias-Jayasinghe '18, our Career Dev chair, who interned with Sam's Club this summer!

"This summer I was a Merchandising Finance Intern at Sam's Club where I learned about the membership model and a different way of thinking about retail. My project this summer was related to analyzing the promotions in the Sam's Club Instant Savings book and providing recommendations to improve it. It was exciting to work on a team, learn a bunch of on-the-job technical skills, and meet a variety of people."
