#BIGPICTURE: Day 22 of women's history month brings us to Nigeria, where this schoolgirl is being carried by a military commander. This girl, along with dozens of other young women, was released by Boko Haram extremists on Wednesday -- more than a month after being kidnapped by the militant group. It is unclear how many girls the group is still holding captive, or how many died in their hands.

Did the President get rolled on immigration in the new $.1.3T omnibus spending bill? His top legislative advisor, Marc Short, tells me that although "there are strings attached" to the border wall piece, "it is $1.6 billion for the next 6 months... so it is what we asked for"

So, Sam Nunberg had a heck of a week (and ends up before the grand jury) -- I asked Katie Phang, MSNBC Legal Analyst, what she would do if she were @POTUS:
"If I'm Trump & counsel, I go for the spin... but again, Nunberg allegedly has immunity, and that's scary if you're Trump."
Happy Friday! Another busy news day around here -->
Rep. Tom Reed was *not* one of 107 Republicans who sent a letter urging the President to change course on his tariff proposal.
He tells me: "Short term pain, in my opinion, may be something we have to incur in order to get long term gain."
Obsessed with this one, can you tell?
*especially* when Michelle Obama tells little Parker: “Keep on dreaming big for yourself... and maybe one day I’ll proudly look up at a portrait of you!”
The DOJ is now suing California over their immigration laws, essentially saying they prevent ICE agents from doing their jobs.
So, what does this mean?
Pete Williams to the rescue > "This certainly escalates the war between the Trump administration and local governments over sanctuary cities."
Perhaps the most surprising thing about Cohn's departure: the news isn't breaking on a Friday.
