Even though we have tried to delete any listings for us on other web sites, we continue to receive inquiries about our services which touches our hearts . But we do remain "Happily Ever After" retired at our house in the woods and, though we miss working with our wonderful couples and the amazing wedding professionals Dane County has to offer, we are pretty sure we are staying retired!

Connie and James are enjoying their retire in their happily ever after home in the woods of Langlade County. A couple they married some years back asked if they should vote for Happily Ever After Wedding Officiants once again for Best Officiants in the Wisconsin Bride Magazine contest. While they did officiate weddings in 2016, Connie and Jim won the award all six years it has been offered and, now that they have retired, it is time for someone else to receive that honor. So please do not vote for them. But thank you for thinking of them! [Golden Oldie photo by Mandie Haberman of Amanda Red Weddings!]

Our new cover photo is an oldie of some of our favorite children which brings back many good memories!

Connie and James are living 'happily ever after' in their winter wonderland cabin in the woods! This week they were visited by four deer and one fox, plus squirrels, chipmonks, woodpeckers and numerous other birds. They are good company!

We will be closing this page at the end of our first year of retirement. We have so appreciated all of you who have been a part of it and supported it throughout the years. Thank you so much!

Connie and I closed on our dream retirement home on Friday. We packed all of our eathly possessions on the truck today and we move in tomorrow - with CoCo, of course! We return to Madison for one more wedding and one more child blessing this month, and then we are retired! We are looking forward to it! (Photo by Paul Toepfer Photography)

We are getting ready to move to our retirement cabin in the woods of northern Wisconsin. We are taking a second look at a home with a White Lake address. "Where is White Lake?", you ask. I don't know either. But the home has everything we need and want and we can pay cash for it - such a deal. So we are getting close to closing down this page. But not yet!

Connie and James were honored to be named Best Officiants for 2016 by Wisconsin Bride Magazine. We thank our couples and our fellow wedding pros for their support and votes. What a wonderful way for us to begin our retirement. Thank you again!
