I have never used this company nor will I ever!!! I was driving in Highlands Ranch today on C 470 when I saw a Haselden truck with an older yellow lab in the bed of this person's truck. The truck was ...going 60-70 mph and it was 38 degrees outside. You should be ashamed to abuse an animal like that! When we got to the stoplight at Lucent, your poor dog was shaking so hard. I do not, nor will I ever support anyone who abuses animals! See More

A Haselden employee, Scott Edwards, came onto my property today after his company destroyed my parking lot and was physically threatening and rude. He said his company would do little or nothing - cho...ose. I hope Haselden stays in Colorado from now on. See More

Have you seen what Haselden Construction is up to in Cherry Creek lately? Our Steele Creek Project, located at the prominent intersection of Steele Street and East First Avenue is going vertical. Just prior to the holidays, concrete work began. For the hard-core construction guys & gals in the audience, here are the facts: The mat slab thickness in the 'Steele' building (12 stories) is 3'-6" thick. The mat slab in the smaller 'Adams' building (8 stories) is 2'-6" thick. The first pour of a portion of the 'Steele' mat slab was 880 cubic yards. Matthew Linke, Haselden's Senior Project Engineer stated they plan on pouring floors every 8 days once they REALLY get going! How the heck are we doing this is such a dense urban area? The onsite team is utilizing two tower cranes and three concrete placing booms as well as a man/material hoist for access. Tower crane footings are 6' thick each. Once complete, there will be a total of 216 residential units in the buildings, including 5 elevators and a pool on the roof level.

After two years of silence, the 15 bells of the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver, are ringing again for the holiday season! Haselden Construction is proud to have brought this project to completion for the Catholic Archdiocese of Denver. You can click on the video below to hear the bells ring! “We are excited to have them functioning again,” says Msgr. Thomas Fryar. "Not only for the fact that it’s maintaining the heritage of the cathedral, but it’s going to allow us to continue what they were put there for: to be a bit of comfort and solace in the middle of the city.” The Cathedral Basilica stopped ringing its bells in 2011, after an inspection revealed serious concerns that the 100-year-old wooden frame could no longer support 17,725 pounds of pure copper and tin bells. Since last May, Haselden has worked to replace the wooden frame with steel supports. They have also added a Carillon Master Control system that allows the bells to be controlled remotely by a small keyboard located in the choir loft. The new system will allow the Cathedral Basilica to play many tunes, including the Angelus bells; Westminster Chimes, or the Call to Worship. Happy Holidays!

Does your CEO bring you breakfast?! Byron Haselden - our president & CEO - keeps in touch with our craft workers is through "Burritos with Byron." He visits the jobsite, brings breakfast for everyone, and opens the floor for people on site to talk about how they're feeling about the project and what we can be doing to assist them. This one took place last month at our W Aspen project.
