I have no words to describe this resort !! Everything was disgusting ... I am outraged by the poor service that you offer everything in absolute degradation, shame !!!
Village filthy restaurant bad, v...ery poor quality, the food is repulsive .the rooms old and dirty, and beach bars are deserted dirt absolute !! Without air conditioning, insects, cockroaches, mice, tablecloths dirty broken unpresentable is a real shame that you open the doors and give your guests a service that bad of poor quality, you do not deserve that customers staying at your facility !! The Director bad person, rude and unsympathetic ... Your village must be closed to the public for this reason I will make a complaint to the competent authorities for what I saw in the hotel will document with pictures I took to ensure that it is closed immediately for the risk of catching serious diseases and serious !! Absolute disgrace !!! See More

The hotel was lovely but the 24hr bar was constantly out of beer, spirits and fizzy drinks. The cleanliness was absolutely shite, the dinning area was always dirty, floors with drinks spilt on them the day before, table cloths never changed, food left on the floors and tables all day. The Russians were like a bunch of animal's always pushing in and taking so much food it meant it ran out before anyone else could get any. No spa, diving centre, no real entertainment. This is being sold as an all inclusive holiday, I'm telling you this isn't. I would recommend to anyone to keep well clear of this hotel. See More

Fantastic holiday... not without fault but was minimal. Main issue was with arriving but this is not the fault of Hauza. How the holiday is booked in England is through an agent of an agent... info an...d payment is not being past through to Hauza. Best way passed this is booking direct with Hauza. Our party of 13 are doing everything we can to help Hauza to get the payment and publicity it deserves. Such a beautiful place with lovely staff... Mido is the man to book your trips with... he is a genuinely lovely man. Go to Hauza... value for money as long as you are not someone who expects the world for next to nothing in return... thank you Hauza xxx See More

Visited in Jan 2014. Stayed for a week. Food was terrible. Room was mediocre as was cleanliness. Grounds were nice. Staff and manager were terrible, charged for a call we never made, nearly made us returning flight as delayed hotel check out until we were forced to pay £40 for a call we never made. Would never return. See More

Lovely resort.. friendly staff that will do anything to help u...lovely gardens n beach.the site is well kept.we have been to this hotel 7times now n it get better every time..yes the food isnt what e...very likes n does go quick but thats not the hotels fault its the gready kids are very fussy but we survive for the food over the 3weeks that where there..we love this hotel so much that we are even thinking of getting married here n bringing friends n family...weve been to some top hotels in the past but we love hauza....hello to all the staff...jane paul dalton mitch n summer... I love this hotel, dated, needs some improvement but they always try their best.I'll will always support this hotel.

Horrible start to our holiday, as the staff didnt have record of our booking. Also they were rude and unhelpful, however! Once the problem was sorted, our stay was amazing! Great people, great atmosph...ere, nice food and amazing stay! See More

Stayed at the Hauza from the 2nd till the 10th oct, we had a great week,The staff were very friendly, rooms were spacious and clean.Salah and Mido who come round the pool selling excursions are two great guys, can't help you enough.The animation team work so hard and put on entertainment every night.Cant wait to go back. This is a disgusting hotel!! Staff on reception are rude, rooms are so out dated. Dining area is far from clean!! 1st night we arrived we had to Que for plates, food was dreadful & no clean tables for... us to sit at:-( ran our or beer, no gas for fizzy drinks!! Should be closed down!!!!! See More

We have never in our 40 years of marriage, been to a hotel complex with so many faults so filthy with so many health issues and been so badly treated as Hauza.
On booking in we were taken to a room N...o 1009. On entering this room, there was a disgusting overpowering smell of stale cigarettes. The room was filthy , one of the beds were about 2” higher at the feet end than the head end, top sheet was torn ,Curtains were hanging off ,The bath was disgusting, a bed was wet , and a brown stain on the chair ,Make your own mind up what it was . I rejected this room immediately and was moved to room 1501. This was better but nothing to shout about.
We proceeded to go for a late night snack at the pool bar where there was 3 bain maries in the open air with food in but no hot water underneath to keep it warm. One of them had cold rice in .We felt this was a health risk so we went without food that night.
Several times during this holiday there was no running water in the room but one time the whole complex’s water was off. No one could use the room’s, Restaurant or bars toilets ,wash basins or showers . Very much a problem when you both have the runs. It did make me wonder why breakfast was served in the restaurant when none of the Staff or clients could wash their hands, dishes or food or even use the toilet.
Also several times in this holiday the electricity was off in our room. It was off so long one day that I had to complain so we ended up moving rooms again, to a different block at 11:00pm by torch light to a room on a third floor with the view from the doorway was a building site .
Booking out of the hotel became the biggest farce of all.
I booked and paid for 15 nights at this hotel instead of 14 because our return flight was 10:15pm. So we could keep the room for as long as we wanted on Thursday, and the room was booked until Friday 26th.
In the afternoon we decided to have a short sleep because we would lose a night’s sleep being a 5 hour flight.
This was not to be , The cleaner came knocking about 4:30pm to tell us we have to vacate the room by 6:00pm because someone was due to move in . On this point I argued about it but he was adamant and said he would take it up with his supervisor.
On account of this we got ready and vacated the room.
At the reception they were confused by their paperwork and told me I had to stay until Friday.
It then took me ¾ of an hour to explain why I booked the room for an extra day although we were leaving the hotel by about 7:30pm but asking why the cleaner got us to leave earlier than we wanted to .At this moment the ftaff could not answer that . What a farce. I have paid for an extra day for nothing and it was the finishing touches to the worst holiday we have ever had.
This Hotel has major Issues.
The room Brochure tells us there is an Indian restaurant “AL Jazeerah” this was shut down.
The main water feature running down about 2/3 of the complex that goes under bridges feeds the flamingo pool then goes on to feed the Bar / Restaurant moat was not working and dried up the flamingos were standing in smelly shallow/muddy water , the Moat was almost emptied, polluted , smelt like a sewer .
Every day the grounds grass was watered with water that smelt like raw sewage and made us heaving when passing.
The pool bar;- the kitchen was used as a smoking shelter by the staff and one even drank coke out of a bottle that was being served to the public . The cold cabinet with self service cakes by the pool bar was not plugged in and in the open air with lumps of glass broken on the doors. See photo.
The pizzeria had pizzas but not burgers, Spaghetti, Hot dogs, chicken wings, calamari, fish fingers and Tagin as advertised in the brochure.
The air con and electric fly killers were not working in the main Restaurant and reception except when the owner was eating in there. So flies and insects were on the food. The temperature was around 38c so you don’t need much imagination to see what health risk that was to the food with chicken, fish and yogurt food products in there . Dishes were chipped and shortage of cutlery was also a problem.
One of the bottles of drinking water from the hotel when opened smelt awful although it was sealed.
Wi Fi was a joke they wanted £40 if we had it for 2 weeks for what you could only use in the Reception aria and was so slow it was going on time out when I tried to get my bank info. Wi Fi was free in the English bar but you had to buy the drinks there but that didn’t work on the second week.
Lighting on steps had some bulbs not working and not a hand rail on any of the steps of the walkways.
It took us 5 days for them to get the room safe working then we had to move room the safe in there you could pick it up and walk away with it .
This hotel complex has the basis to be really nice with some unique features but all this was ruined by letting it be run down and shut down in some cases.
This is our 5th visit to Egypt and it was our favourite holiday place but this hotel has put us off Egypt for good.

Lovely hotel staff an management so cheerful an helpful management took time to chat an customer relations couldn't be more helpful. Would of given 5 star but I couldn't eat food for two weeks lol but... that said I'm fussy eater x See More
