Number 4, every dang time!

We're reluctant to say certain things always happen in golf, although it often feels that way. You always miss that fairway left. You always run out of tees. There's always a work emergency when you sneak out at lunch. The point is golf is a game of habits, not all of which are welcome. What are som...

Phew, luckily we don’t ever have any geese on our course.

This Michigan high school golfer is OK, but his "pride was hurt" after being attacked by a goose at Wolf Creek Golf Course in Adrian:

It is a good course, bad service...had to wait 22 minutes for someone to show up at the pro shop to start golfing. They also airrated all the greens & made it a pain for our group. The views were & great setup. See More

Hawk's Eye golf course is an excellent track. Every hole brings something new to the table and you have to use every club in your bag.

My only negative is they need to be better organized. Simple wa...y to explain it, it just seems half ass. Always seems a little unorganized. They don't ever seem to be that busy and I have to believe that has a lot to do with how they are managed.

If you haven't been here, give it a try. Fun golf course, solid conditions.

So to begin we dropped our clubs at the club drop and went to park and change shoes. Went in to the clubhouse to check in and all is well. Friendly service and a good selection of sportswear.

Went ou...tside and no one picked up our clubs. We had to walk back to the club drop and bring them to the carts Ourselves. That was farther than just bringing them from the car. No one outside to help us. Couldn't find the driving range, no signs and no employee to help us. Ended up driving around for ten minutes looking for it.

Finally got to the course and the course was beautiful. Great views in the hills of northern Michigan. Course was well kept. Unfortunately it seems no one playing here knows how to fix a ball mark. We ended up fixing several including our own. Also no sand to fill any divots. Been out for a few holes now and no cart person with drinks anywhere to be found. Finished nine holes and the clubhouse has closed and the bar/restaurant is also closed. It's only 6:00pm. So we head to 10 and I see a guy running around checking to see who is still golfing so I ask him about some snacks and he says they have closed and shut down the computer so he can't get us anything. Really weird. Especially since it doesn't get dark here until after 9pm.

So in conclusion I liked the course, the price was good for the round but service is lacking. They have a small hotel and someone I was talking to mentioned a time share so not sure why they would close so early. Finished the round and again no one anywhere to be found.

This is a beautiful course. We had a tee time of 12:19. We got there about 11:45; it was very busy, but staff was great (Josie in the pro-shop). The only issue we had was there was a group of 16 that ...came in who had a tee time, but it was missed(?). We got out at 12:45, but there was no recovering from that. It took 3.5 hours for our 1st 9. We drove up for the day from the Bay City area and had to call it quits after 13. (We had dogs at home. We came across one group who was on 17 and they had a 10:40 tee time. They were shocked when we told them it was 5:00
All this being said, we would golf here again. The ranger was personable, staff we engaged with were great. We had to paired up and were lucky to golf with some very nice people from Grand Haven 😊

Would have gotten 5 stars except for the food/bev service, which is lacking and sparse.

Lack of food choices in the grill. We had a group of 20 golfers in (5) foursomes and we went an entire 9 holes... without seeing the cart girl.

The people working were very friendly and seemed happy to be there and to accommodate us... but seems management somehow limits them.

Course was phenomenal... great condition, great layout! Carts were in good shape and the pace of play was great.

Ate at Chipper's Pub, First time there . Nice place but needs management UPDATE. Only 1 other table there when we arrived. Server couldn't find a menu so she took it from the other table. We had to ...share it. VERY limited menu selection, server was chomping her gum while taking our order When our food came out, my husband's came out 20 minutes b4 mine. No silverware or napkins were given, serve yourself I guess. When my food came out, the other table got the rest of their food also. On an up note..the food was good and the cook came to the table to apologize. See More

We got a cart with a low battery barely made it up some of the hills..and needed a push up the last hill to get in...staff didn't seem concerned, guess I should learn to check before going out..

Easily one of the top courses in Northern Michigan. I play Hawk's Eye several times a year and the course is always in great condition. it is challenging and fair at the same time. The changes in elev...ation pretty much guarantee that you will use every club in the bag. Hard to beat the view from the the tenth tee box. Definitely a must play. See More

Best conditions since we have been coming up here. Greens were excellent and the service from the staff was very professional and they truly appreciated us being there and playing their course.

Great challenging course but very fair, you see all the shots you need to make, and then you have to putt on some very nice and sometimes unfair greens. Our grope has played our fall trip here 4 of th...e last 6 years. Only negative is only old hot dogs at the turn. See More

Course is nice, but make sure you have written conformation for tee time and rates. It would be good to know the name of the person you talk to on the phone.
