Knowing what to do when someone’s heart suddenly stops beating could save their life. Take a minute to learn how to use a defibrillator. (Via Channel 5 News).

Z71 attended a call tonight which showed how important it is for people to know that when waiting for an ambulance you leave a front door open if possible or an outside light on. Unless we can clearly see where we are meant to be going, we can't respond to you as quickly as we possibly could! Especially now the evenings are getting darker. Stay safe and healthy people!

Have you ever fancied becoming a local hero?

If so, feel free to message us about becoming a community first responder.

Just a quick note to thank Misse Oliver for the sum of £525.50 she has raised selling coins.
This money goes towards keeping the teams operating and placing de-fibs in the community.
Unfortunately this will be her last donation to us due to some nasty comments aimed at her whilst
trying to raise funds for us. We understand her reasons for stepping down and wish her well.
Once again thank you for all you have done without which we could not operate, as we rely on donations to ...keep us going.’
R.Cottis chairman of Z70/Z71 community responders.

Hey everyone!
We have recently had a lot of messages from people asking if we have received donations from 'missie oliver' the answer is yes we have and she also does a lot of fundraising for us. She is not a scam and has helped raised hundreds of pounds for our group. We would appreciate if the messages we receive are responding related from now on. 😄
