

Yu Shuhong, founder of Anhui Zhongke Micro-Nano New Material, and Hu Yu, CEO of iFlytek, were awarded the National Innovation Prize on May 30. The award, second only to the Highest Science and Technology Awards, mainly honors outstanding scientific and tech professionals, as well as teams who have made great contributions to scientific research, technological development, and entrepreneurship.
The two men’s companies are both located in Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone, and have helped with epidemic prevention and control efforts by developing new materials for medical supplies and promoting #AI technologies. iFLYTEK Developer
Exoskeleton robots are no longer solely the preserve of sci-fi movies! A new generation of walking exoskeleton robots, developed by a research team led by Professor Li Zhijun from the University of Science and Technology of China, are able to walk at speeds of up to 1.3 meters per second. They have the same flexibility as the human body and can adapt to a variety of terrains.
