I have been going to the Hewitt Public Library since 1982! It was small back then, but it had wonde...rful books - as good as any Library - & that still holds true today! The people working there always helpful & friendly!
I have taken my grandchildren to the Hewitt Library for story time & other events throughout the years when they came to visit from Memphis. They are too old for story time now, but they loved our Library!
I must sadly admit that I don't go to our Library as much anymore because I have a Kindle now that I read at least one book a week on. I have a Kindle because I use a cane & need a knee replacement, therefore it's easier for me with my Kindle. But I can tell you that I have been to some of the activities they offer for all ages! They're great!
To me the most wonderful smell in the world is the smell of a book! Be it new or used - & there's nothing like the smell of a Library! And the Hewitt Library has the most wonderful smelling books I have ever smelled! Lol
We are SO very fortunate to have such a beautiful, modern Library in Hewitt with all the accommodations of any large city Library! We should all be so very proud & we should all take advantage of this wonderful new Library! It is definitely worth the trip! See More
