The Hickory Soup Kitchen 250 Race to End Hunger was a huge success last night! There was electricity in the air a soon as we got to the track. We would like to thank the Cars Tour for making this happen, United Sewing for their support, and all the fans for coming out to the race! It was awesome! Our 50/50 raffle winner donated a potion of his winnings back to the Kitchen, and the Cars Tour folks even let the Soup Kitchen's Director Austin Pearce wave the green flag to start the first race. We had a wonderful time, and are grateful for all the support!

Construction continues at a rapid pace at our new location! We ran into some rock when they were digging channels for the new plumbing, but made short work of it with Jack Hammers!

Three of our amazing volunteers Justin, David, and Drew are showing off their medals from this past weekends Special Olympics competition! We are so proud of all of these athletes accomplishments, not just out on the court, but here at the Soup Kitchens. These guys really make a difference. Thanks boys!
