AUS SUNDAY: A weak low pressure system is located over Northern NSW …and moving South East. This system will eventually move offshore and become part of the forecast East Coast Low to develop off the NSW Coast over the next 36-72 hours. A trough is extending across Eastern QLD & North East NSW which is helping produce some scattered showers with the chance of some isolated storms over SEQLD & NENSW later in the day. Further showers brought on by the low and associated onshore flow are expected over Eastern NSW and large parts of Victoria with some moderate to locally heavy falls over Far Eastern VIC & Southern / Central Coastal NSW today. An oblong shaped high pressure system over Eastern WA and Western SA is directly Southerly winds over SA and into the NT with South Westerly winds occurring over Inland QLD. While North Easterly winds are occurring across Western WA ahead of an approaching cold front which will enter the region later this evening and bring further showers and possible isolated storms with it.

Short video of a CONFIRMED Funnel Cloud in Toowoomba earlier. The Storm passed by Toowoomba with clear rotation. The Storm has since weakened to light showers near Allora as it continues to head South-East.
