Recently switched managers of apartments. While they are cleaning up the landscaping-rent continues to increase however, there continues to be a reduction of a...menities. They are poorly managing parking- allowing folks to park anywhere they want: making it hard for emergency vehicles to come through. They are non-responsive to requests for return calls.
Maintainance does a pretty good job, they are quick and do what is requested
Customer service is Terrible. Wouldn't recommend this place to someone who wants a customer service oriented place that strives to provide the residents a positive experience.

I wouldn't recommend Highpointe to anyone. Parking is terrible, I pick up trash around our parking lot because they don't even keep those picked up. They don't ...take care of landscaping, as I pull all the weeds off our patio. They have had 3 managers in the 2 years I've lived here. Windows are drafty and they can't do any fixing but patch them up. When it rains our bedroom window gets wet and gets into the blinds, curtains and carpet. The spiders near the north field can come in very easy as the doors and window are not very tight. We live in first floor get anywhere from 10-30 spiders per week (big wolf spiders) around end of summer/ fall. Our electric bill is high due to the drafty windows. If you put up plastic the wind from draft blows it down and the tape doesn't stick. The walls are paper thin I can hear my neighbors upstairs calling their kids name or their tv. Just don't rent here! Not worth the money! Way overpriced, doesn't even have a garbage disposal. Now they are doing structural repairs to kitchen and gave notice the Friday before, still not done when they told me 3-5 days. The contractors that came in used my bathroom and didn't flush, also left their water bottles in our fridge. Just very unprofessional. Don't rent here, unless you're ok with all of these terrible things! Just not worth the almost $1k of rent per month. Go down the street to legacy landing or cedar Brooke apartments. See More

So I have lived here for approx 4years, and every year things get worse. I have already been frustrated with bringing concerns to the property managers here and... either little or no effort/response.

The moldy concrete located in the alcove and entry to my apt, has been a concern I have had for so long, for approx 2.5 years. And almost 2 years ago I started documenting the moldy areas by taking pictures... multiple times with multiple property managers, it has fell on deaf ears- or at least that's how I feel.

Recently I asked if they could delay our interior structural repairs until next week but was told maybe, maybe not- no guarantees. Kinda vague... and don't get me wrong, I'm sure they are having issues with this decision as it impacts all 1st floor residents. I am working overnights this week and sleeping during the day, possibly next week too- I just found out about next week though. I explained working overnights and the impact it would have, but after several attempts, the response was, we will try but no guarantee. Really?! Every single day I walk over giant patches of mold. I have been nothing but patient and now that they need something done, we are given very little notice with no regard to the disruption it will cause in our lives. And right away we are expected to drop everything going on in our lives to empty cupboards and prepare for construction to start... The more I think about this, the more upset I get. The best part was when Emily told me this week, that it's rust- lol, no way! This doesn't sit well with me. At the time, it irritated me that she dismissed my concern. Frankly, my expectations are nice and low, so it didn't surprise me. (And that's nothing personal or specific to Emily- I am referring to all current/previous property managers)

Especially with other issues that aren't as serious, also ongoing, not taken care if. My microwave and hot water issues were reported in January, they have both been repaired, but still not fully functioning after supposedly fixed hot water and new microwave ordered- nothing yet. The weeds in front of our building look like bushes, but they aren't. When I asked if they would have their landscaping company take care of the ginormous weeds, I was told they couldn't ask them because they only speak Spanish. So the best part? I speak Spanish- very fluent as all of my employees whom I manage in the housekeeping department of our hotel speak Spanish. So I offered to help them translate with the landscape company to get it done, but was told no- that they will handle it- that was Spring of 2014, nothing done still. I still pass the same bushes of weeds everyday.

I have like 10 other things too, but again- my concern is the mold. And even worse, the short noticed requirement to allow construction to occur and disrupting my life. It's absurd. It's time for me to go to work now for my overnight shift. When I wake up tomorrow in the late afternoon, I am interested to see if Emily has replied to my email. I sent her photos of the moldy patches (or rust as she calls it) which I will also post on here, the first two sets of photos are my most recent taken, 2 pics from Feb 2017, and 2 pics from May 2017... I am off to work feeling jealous that others get to sleep right now, ugh!

Great apartments! However who ever wrote me a note to leave the parking lot, it won't happen. I live here and you can find a different parking spot. Thanks!

Hello residents! As many of you are aware, we are currently working on a renovation project that affects multiple units across the property. These renovations are being made to update the accessibility of our property per the latest HUD guidelines. We understand that property improvements do cause short-term inconveniences and we thank you for your patience during this process. We have been and/or will be communicating directly with those residents whose units are impacted.

Residents,

It's with regret that we had to close the pool early today due to expected storms. Weather provided, it will reopen tomorrow at 9:00am.

Thank you

We hope everyone has a happy 4th! Please note that High Pointe does not allow firework use in property.

It was brought to my attention that in the evening many cars park along both sides of the curb here. Please do not park along the curb by the garages.

This will allow for easier traffic flow for everyone. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Everyone, I think it goes without saying, but pool is closed for the evening. We hope everyone has a great evening.

This little guy scared some residents pretty good last night! This is funny, but let's make sure our trash gets put in the dumpsters from now on😂
